As a therapist my goals are to:

-Provide opportunities for clients
to achieve self-understanding;

-Create an environment of trust so
clients can discover their own
roads to empowerment.

-Discover new innovative
techniques for self- exploration
of clients.

My work philosophy, at it’s most basic, is to always be a part of the solution rather than a part of the problem. I am more interested in what is right with people than what is wrong with them. I like to teach clients how to recognize and nurture their own goodness.

In addition to being a counselor, Nancy is a musician, working with two groups.  She is a  member of the a cappella vocal group, Baby Needs Shoes, and as a jazz pianist and vocalist, she works in a duo with guitarist, Steve Hanson.  Cd's are available for both groups.

Nancy has co-produced or been a part of several theatre productions over the past 25 years, including Women with Water,Women, Fire, and Dangerous Things, Girl Talk, she is a member of A Company of Angels, a professional theatre company.
